The songwriter & the show

I consider myself a songwriter first, and an artist second. I write about friends and family and my hometown. I write about my wife, my shortcomings, my hopes and my ideals. I write songs to make people laugh and let loose, and I write songs to make people - myself included - reflect and reconsider.

In concert, I strive to take my audience on a journey — high energy, clap and singalong tunes, followed by one or two solemn numbers for dynamics, with bits of conversation, backstories and Q&A’s sprinkled throughout.

House concerts are my favorite atmospheres in which to perform, and I would love to come play for you and your guests!
